Legal fight over Heels & Hounds fundraiser puts Nevada Humane Society event in jeopardy

Second Judicial District Court Judge Connie Steinheimer granted a preliminary injunction on Thursday against Christi Quatro barring her from asserting ownership over the Heels & Hounds name, logo or event until the court can determine its rightful owner.

Quatro had temporarily been barred from asserting ownership over the name via an earlier temporary restraining order granted by the court, but the most recent order extends it until the court establishes who rightfully owns the event and its associated name and imagery.
