Associate
As an Associate with Simons Hall Johnston PC, Darby’s practice is focused in Labor and Employment Law and Commercial Litigation. Darby is dedicated to delivering the best outcomes for clients through diligent and effective advocacy.
As a fourth generation Nevadan, Darby earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Nevada Reno, double majoring in Political Science and English with an emphasis in writing. Upon graduating from the University of Nevada Reno, Darby went on to graduate cum laude from Willamette University College of Law.
During her time in law school, Darby was an active member of the Women’s Law Caucus and American Constitution Society as well as the secretary for the International Law Society. Darby also served as the Editor in Chief of Willamette Journal of International Law and Dispute Resolution and participated in her law school’s clinical program where she worked with low-income individuals with their estate planning needs. While attending law school, Darby also had the privilege of serving as a judicial extern to Justice James Hardesty on the Nevada Supreme Court, which solidified her decision to return to Nevada to practice law.
Darby is admitted to practice law in Nevada and is a member of the State Bar of Nevada. In her free time, Darby enjoys spending time with family and friends, golfing, and volunteering in the community.
