Jacee Harding is an associate with Simons Hall Johnston where she focuses her practice in the areas of employment and labor law as well as commercial litigation. Jacee is committed to achieving the best possible results for her clients through dedicated and compassionate service.
Born in Reno, Nevada and raised in Northern California, Jacee returned to Reno where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Nevada, Reno. Upon graduation from the University of Nevada, Reno, Jacee interned for the Honorable Scott N. Freeman. Jacee thereafter attended law school and earned her law degree from Ave Maria School of Law in Naples, Florida in 2019.
During her time in law school Jacee was an active member of Phi Alpha Delta and the Women’s Law Association. Jacee also served as President of the Federalist Society, and as Vice President of Internal Competitions and Vice President of External Competitions of the Ave Maria School of Law Moot Court Board. After her RWA Oral Arguments, Jacee received an Honorable Mention and went on to become a semi-finalist in the Ave Maria School of Law Robert H. Bork Appellate Competition. She also competed in multiple other appellate and arbitration competitions.
Upon completing her legal education, Jacee returned to Reno and had the privilege of serving as a law clerk for the Honorable Scott N. Freeman. Jacee’s clerkship experience has helped her gain judicial insights, key to providing effective and knowledgeable representation. Following her time as a law clerk, and prior to joining Simons Hall Johnston PC, Jacee served in the legal department of a prominent local hospital.
Jacee is admitted to practice law in Nevada and is currently a member of the Washoe County Bar Association and the State Bar of Nevada. In her free time, Jacee loves spending time with her family, teaching business law and the legal environment at the University of Nevada, Reno and volunteering with the Kappa Alpha Theta Reno Alumnae Chapter Board and Life Is Worth It Organization Board focused on suicide prevention.
